The hotels, located in the most exclusive locations in Madrid, Barcelona and London, exceed 80% occupancy.

Attracting tourism that chooses Madrid or Barcelona as a destination and strengthening proximity to users in each city, define 2025

Chefs Javier Sanz and Juan Sahuquillo sign Urban's gastronomic proposal.

The Group continues its commitment to art and gastronomy as distinguishing features and further develops its work in sustainability

In 2025, DHC begins with a strengthened position at a time of growth in tourism, with Madrid as one of the destinations mainly chosen by international markets.

The Group that for 54 years in Barcelona (since 1968 with the Derby) and more than 20 years in Madrid has defined exclusivity, from architecture, design, heritage and art to offer the best experience in unique spaces, located in the best locations in each city, and also maintains, in 2025, gastronomy as a differential seal.

AMERICAN, SPANISH AND BRITISH TOURISTS

Within the framework of Fitur, the Group chaired by Jordi Clos and with Joaquim Clos in the general management, has made a balance of the last year, which has closedwith a turnover of over 88 million euros, which has meant a growth of 6% compared to 2023, maintaining the growth rate of the last three years. In addition, it expects to grow by 5% in 2025.

According to data provided at Fitur, tourism from the United States, United Kingdom and Italy, generated more than forty percent of bookings and Spanish tourists remain. In 2023, 22% of clients came from the U.S.; 12% were domestic tourists; 9.5% from the U.K. and 8% from Italy.

Likewise, Joaquim Clos detailed that, last year, 603,616 people stayed at one of Derby Hotels Collection's establishments, with 309,409 nights and an average annual occupancy rate of 80%.

“We understand exclusivity as uniqueness and for us the challenge is that it can be enjoyed by people who choose a hotel to stay overnight or for users of a city looking for fine dining or a magnificent breakfast.

Madrid is a city that has positioned itself as one of the main destinations in the world and Derby will continue to be a reference. When we opened Urban 20 years ago, to a certain extent we established a hotel concept - design, culture and gastronomy - and we are maintaining or even reinforcing it,” says Joaquim Clos, Director.

GASTRONOMIC RESTAURANTS, JUAN SAHUQUILLO AND JAVIER SANZ IN BAIT AND GLASS AND SIPS CONSULTING IN COCKTAILS

In 2025, the Urban reinforces the Michelin-starred CEBO proposal, under the direction of chefs Javier Sanz and Juan Sahuquillo, while the Glass returns to its origins with an informal bar concept and adds to the cocktail menu signed by Marc Álvarez and Simone Caporale, from Sips Barcelona, a menu of snacks from the CEBO chefs.

In this sense, Joaquim Clos emphasizes “We don't want our hotels to be only for those who make a reservation. On the contrary. Our hotels want to be connected, they want to be open hotels, very close and for that, we are very aware of offering good gastronomy, more formal or casual, and experiences and even spaces to enjoy more of the city, such as our terraces.

This helps us to build loyalty, compete and continue to grow. And after so many years, established in Madrid and Barcelona, we are proud to grow with our hallmarks”.

In this way, the Urban already shows that gastronomy has its own place in the hotel and from the access to the hotel, on its main floor, invites you to enjoy an excellent proposal, from steps, a la carte or snacks with cocktails. Bait and Glass one in front of the other, for a quieter or more casual tasting, the latter open from 11.00 am until 02:00h every day.

The concept of CEBO is inspired by a cuisine stripped of artifice, which is expressed with the best products of the moment. It is a deep and nuanced cuisine, which delves into the flavors, claiming the simplicity and the elemental. For this new season, CEBO presents a new menu with an experience based on the product and origins in all senses, a journey through the raw material and its preparation. While in the hotel's renowned Glass, -Solete Repsol-, 'Bocados by CEBO' offers cocktails and snacks with a menu of bites also signed by CEBO chefs to accompany a cocktail menu advised by Marc Álvarez and Simone Caporale of Sips Barcelona -third Best Cocktail Bar in the World 2024 and Best Cocktail Bar in 2023, by 50 Best Bars-.

To these two spaces, the Urban adds its Terrace, located on the top floor, considered one of the most spectacular rooftops in Madrid, overlooking the Austrias neighborhood and where in season you can enjoy live music.

In Barcelona, its Japanese fusion cuisine restaurant Os-Kuro at the Claris Hotel & Spa 5*GL is consolidated as one of the gastronomic projects of the city with a menu composed of the best products from here and there, a fusion of cultures that converge in this unique restaurant. Fresh fish and seafood from the fish markets all over Spain, according to the season, cooked with the Japanese technique and fused with other flavors such as sake and wagyu from the prefectures of Miyazaki and Kagoshima.

Also, in the Claris stands out its Terraza del Claris, a space open to locals and visitors, with a quiet atmosphere and views over the Eixample district of Barcelona. The Claris Terrace was the first hotel terrace opened in the city of Barcelona, and, since 1992, remains a benchmark, in an elegant and quiet space, high level and its extensive cocktail menu. Thanks to its innovative Mediterranean and local gastronomic proposal. With km0 products and a firm commitment against food waste.
