El Glass returns to its origins as an informal bar and a gastronomic concept of bites signed by the chefs of Cebo 1 Michelin star - Javier Sanz and Juan Sahuquillo-.

 

Madrid, November 13, 2024. The Hotel Urban 5*GL presents the new season of the Glass Bar, recently awarded with a Solete Repsol. The renowned bar of the Urban incorporates in its proposal a tapas menu signed by the chefs of Cebo to enjoy along with its cocktail bar.

El Glass returns to its origins with an informal bar concept: Michelin-starred bites and a wide range of unique cocktails in the center of Madrid. A hotel open to the city that is committed to quality gastronomy and cocktails. The link between CEBO and the Urban, in the words of Joaquim Clos, General Manager of Derby Hotels Collection, “With Bocados by CEBO, our goal is to continue offering a 360° experience at the Urban, combining art, luxury and gastronomy. Our guest can sleep in a room that houses thousands of years old, enjoy CEBO's gastronomic proposal not only in its restaurant, but also in the Glass Bar and accompany it with a high-level cocktail proposal”.

The chefs Javier Sanz and Juan Sahuquillo, recognized with Michelin star, are the authors of 'Los bocados del Glass'. “A proposal of informal snacking, ideal for sharing, which allows you to enjoy our cuisine to remember in a relaxed atmosphere and accompany it with the best signature cocktails”.

Mouthfuls with Michelin star by CEBO

For the first season of Glass, with the CEBO menu, the chefs have worked on a proposal of tapas and snacks perfect for sharing and snacking at any time.

The menu is made up of dishes from the sea, the land and sweets. From the land, the 'Homage to the Iberian pig', the 'Carrot and rabbit', the 'Cut of a margherita pizzeta', the 'Croquette of truffled grain chick' and the 'Steak tartar cornet' are offered. From the sea, the 'Oyster and its pearl' and the 'Bluefin tuna folded taco'. And for those with a sweet tooth, the 'Cocolate' and the 'Cañikers'. A menu with which Javier Sanz and Juan Sahuquillo create a fine dining experience that evokes the cuisine of memories and unique flavors.

Glass Bar, a cocktail bar to enjoy

Inspired by an innovative concept of cocktails, the Glass del Urban seeks to reinvent the world of drinks, with a distinctive seal in flavors and presentations. The cocktails are works of art, and this season's novelties include 'Old Fashioned', 'Pink Chihuahua' or 'Krypta', a new way to breathe a cocktail. In addition, they maintain their classics like the 'Bloody Berry'.
